Résumé
This session links the spread of invasive weeds and climate change. Increased CO2 has a fertilizer effect on plants and invasive weeds respond faster, more strongly as oppose to native species to both CO2 ad increasing temperature. Changes in rainfall may also benefit some weeds under certain circumstances. Invasive vines (lianas) and other disturbance species are likely to become more invasive due to more extreme weather such as cyclones.
