This is a test: Define hierarchical national lists (metropolitan and overseas France) of invasive alien species, after consulting the relevant scientific councils. Invasive alien species are recognized by the Convention on Biological Diversity as the fourth cause of global biodiversity loss. They are favored by anthropogenic disturbances and activities (environmental degradation, international trade, climate change, etc.). Through their multiple impacts, they threaten native species, natural habitats habitats and ecosystem services, but also economic activities and human health human health. The economic repercussions can be considerable. An initial estimate in Europe has put the annual cost of invasive alien species at between 9 and 12 billion euros. Because of the scale of their impacts, invasive alien species are targeted by a specific specific objective of the 2011-2020 strategic plan approved by the Convention on Biological Diversity to which all signatory states are committed (Aïchi Objectives), including France. Other international international conventions (Bonn, Berne, Washington, Ramsar, etc.) also deal with invasive international organizations have issued numerous recommendations on the subject on the subject. It is in this context that the French Ministry of the Environment, Energy and the Sea decided to launch, on July 12, 2016, to draw up a National Strategy on Invasive Alien Species. Its drafting is part of the National Biodiversity Strategy 2011-2020, and follows on from following the Assises nationales sur les espèces exotiques envahissantes, organized by the French committee and its partners in September 2014. Define hierarchical national lists (metropolitan and overseas France) of invasive alien species, after consulting the relevant scientific councils.
