The purpose of the training was 1) to develop general understanding of invasive species and biosecurity on Nuâutele and Nuâulua islands by the participants; 2) to develop knowledge and skills necessary to undertake basic surveillance and incursion responses; 3) to collect local knowledge for contribution to the island biosecurity plan, and 4) to develop an initial visitorsâ biosecurity checklist to the islands
